Annual Grass Control (crabgrass)

If you suspect you have Crabgrass, Foxtails, Annual Bluegrass, &/or Barnyardgrass in your lawn, then a pre-emergent herbicide is the most cost effective method to control these annual weedy grasses.
We can include this pre-emergent herbicide for you, tank mixed along with the regular post emergent herbicides, and fertilizers. In many cases this needs to be applied only with the first application. Best results are achieved with a follow up added to the second application for extended control. There is an additional charge for the pre-emergent chemical of only $1.50 to $2 per 1,000 sq.ft., added to the cost of the first application only. (and second app. if requested)
This pre-emergent chemical controls the above grasses, (plus a variety of other weeds and grasses) with no harm to your existing lawn, and is non-staining. The chemical acts by killing the seedling of the pest plant upon germination. The post- emergent herbicides we use controls hundreds of broadleaf weeds, but it cannot control annual grasses alone.
